Top made with natural textiles (cotton, linen, and wool) and vintage textiles, pieced together with my trusty ol' sewing machine. I then add hand stitching on top to emphasize that each piece is one-of-a-kind. I hand dyed some of the textiles to add even more character.
I make colorful clothes for creative souls. My motto is "Wear happy!". I make patterns, I cut, and sew everything myself, using an eclectic mix of quality vintage textiles, European linen, and organic cotton. Occasionally I hand dye some of the textiles, even using natural dyestuffs that I forage myself. Each garment starts with pieces that I sew together using my old sewing machine. To give the garment more character, I add some visible hand stitching: Sometimes very neatly, other times intentionally crooked, even leaving a few loose threads here and there. I may hand knit or crochet a few edges. While this may sound very chaotic, I strive to achieve a harmonious balance until the final piece looks "just right".
